It's the most wonderful time of the year! December has ushered in the holidays, and we are glad. Even though we are tackling our loved ones’ wish lists, we should not forget about those struggling to get by. Spread holiday cheer by donating food and/or toys to local shelters or organizations. Lowcountry Food Bank, Bluffton Self Help, Toys for Tots, Agape Family Life Center, and Antioch Educational Center are all accepting donations. Anyone needing Christmas assistance can register for United Way's Operation Holiday Heroes at a participating site throughout Beaufort and Jasper counties. There are also many churches and organizations hosting giveaways across the region.
