October �� is National Long-Term Care Residents’ Rights Month! This year's theme “Reclaiming My Rights, My Home, My Life”. We honor those living in long-term care facilities by bringing awareness to the dignity and respect of each resident in long-term care facilities. Over 60% of the residents of long-term care facilities in South Carolina have no visitors. Commemorate Long-Term Care Residents’ Rights Month by becoming a Long-Term Care Ombudsman Volunteer. The efforts, presence, and commitment of the volunteer program makes a significant difference in the lives of many.
