Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA)
The SC Rural Infrastructure Authority was established in 2012 to assist communities with financing for qualified infrastructure projects for water and waste water systems as well as storm water drainage facilities. Although RIA initially offered grants for projects in rural and distressed counties, the programs were expanded to make grant and loan assistance available statewide.

United States Department of Agriculture - Rural Development (USDA-RD)
USDA Rural Development is committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in rural America. Through their programs, they help rural Americans by offering loans, grants and loan guarantees to help create jobs and support economic development and essential services such as housing; health care; first responder services and equipment; and water, electric and communications infrastructure.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance has five grant programs. Assists in implementing long-term hazard mitigation planning and projects following a Presidential major disaster declaration. Assistance available to help communities implement hazard mitigation measures after wildfire disasters.

Parks And Recreation Department (PARD)
The PARD grant program is a state-funded noncompetitive reimbursable grant program for eligible local government or special purposes district entities within each county which provide recreational opportunities.
