The
Lowcountry Area Transportation Study (LATS) Policy Commitee receives regular updates from the Army Corps of Engineers and Planning Consultants Moffatt and Nichol on the development of the Jasper Ocean Terminal. The LATS Commitee is a key stakeholder in the planning and development of transportation infrastructure that will support future operation of the terminal. LATS is currently coordinating with the Corps and consultants in the application of transportation demand modeling to anticipate future impacts to the road network from port related traffic.
